Technical characteristics
It can be practical to have this type of cable in order to increase the total capacity of two lipo batteries or to increase their voltage.
The male XT60 connectors are for connecting the two batteries and the female XT60 connector will power the drone.
- If you want to connect two identical batteries to the same drone to increase its A capacity, you will need the parallel Y cable.
For example, 2 6S 1500mAh batteries plugged into the parallel Y cable will give you one 6S 3000mAh battery (1500mAh X2).
- If you want to connect two identical batteries to the same drone to increase its total voltage, you will need the serial Y cable.
For example, 2 6S 1500mAh batteries plugged into the serial Y cable will give you a 12S 1500mAh battery (6S X2).
Note: Be careful, it is preferable to use two identical batteries at the same voltage level.
