DJI RS 4 Mini features automatic axis locks previously found on DJI's flagship stabilizers, allowing all three axis locks to be automatically unlocked on power-up and automatically locked on power-down or standby. This contributes to a significant acceleration of the shooting, transition and storage processes. The storage structure has been improved, with axis arms that fold further flat to save space. Combined with automated axis locks, the stabiliser can be quickly stowed away at the touch of a button, allowing it to be easily placed in a bag for easy transportation.

Fast vertical changeover

Within the RS range, RS 4 Mini offers the quickest changeover between horizontal and vertical shooting. To switch to vertical shooting, simply loosen and press the one-sided knob, remove the horizontal plate from the stabilizer, rotate it through 90°, then replace it by tightening the knob. All this can be done in 10 seconds. This way, you can shoot vertical videos straight away, perfectly suited to viewing on mobile phones, allowing your audience to enjoy your masterpiece even sooner.

The smoothest balancing experience to date

Finding balancing difficult when setting up a camera? RS 4 Mini has been meticulously enhanced by adding Teflon™ spacers previously used on DJI's flagship stabilisers, reducing friction for a smoother balancing experience.

The new fine adjustment knob on the tilt axis allows the camera to be moved forwards or backwards, for millimetre-accurate balancing.

The upper quick-release bracket has three positioning slots, allowing you to choose different installation positions depending on your camera, allowing more space for balancing. When you need to remove the camera from the stabiliser and reattach it, it also helps to memorize the quick repositioning without affecting the balancing.

Compatible with cameras and smartphones

Lightweight, RS 4 Mini offers a 2kg camera pod capacity, effortlessly handling combinations like the Sony A7 mirrorless camera with a 24-70mm F2.8 GM II lens, as well as vlog cameras like the Sony ZV series. When paired with DJI Mic series microphones, auxiliary lights and other accessories, it always delivers smooth camera movements. You can also quickly switch to a smartphone stabiliser using the new Smartphone Holder. Its versatility adapts seamlessly to different scenarios.

4th generation stabilisation

RS 4 Mini has been upgraded to the 4th generation RS stabilisation algorithm. It strikes a superior balance between stabilisation force and the tactile feel of camera movement, delivering both excellent performance and an enhanced user experience. In addition, RS 4 Mini offers significantly improved stability when shooting vertically, easily stabilising dynamic shots such as running or low-angle perspectives. What's more, the stabiliser is optimized for compatibility with a variety of cameras, automatically calibrating the motor force to suit different scenarios.

Fast charging, longer battery life

Compared with the previous generation, both recharge speed and battery life have increased by 30%. With a maximum operating time of 13 hours, it gives you enough autonomy to run all day. It also supports rapid recharging, giving you 5 hours of use after recharging in just 30 minutes.

Lightweight construction, high pod charging capacity

Weighing just 890g, RS 4 Mini offers a camera pod capacity of up to 2kg. It supports a wide range of consumer mirrorless cameras and lens combinations, offering excellent performance. For example, it can support a Sony A7 camera with a 24-70mm f/2.8 GM II lens, as well as a DJI Mic series microphone receiver. With high-torque motors, RS 4 Mini can maintain stable shooting when zooming to maximum focal lengths using the following recommended combinations without the need for rebalancing.
